Hello everyone and welcome again to the State of Aeon for December 16th, 2018. The holidays are close approaching and the Aeon community has been quite busy the past few weeks. Let’s recap what has been going on.

Aeon web-wallet fully funded!

Awe yeah! The community joined together to fully fund the Aeon web wallet and construction has begun. The wallet is currently in beta status and you can check out its current features on Aeon.blue. CarbonGC is in the process of completing the site and getting pages translated to a few major languages. The wallet is a fork of the Masarai web wallet and looks pretty clean! Check it out and give some feedback about the site and its features.

Cryptobridge Decentralized Exchange listing update

A discussion was started about listing on Cryptobridge, a decentralized crypto exchange. Currently, Aeon is not listed on any DEX. Members of the community seem interested in this but typically are not for paying to list Aeon on an exchange. Further discussion with their development team will be done and we will report back about this fee. A proposal will be listed with funding (if applicable) so please keep an eye on AFS. The normal listing fee is 3 BTC, but is currently 2.5 BTC for CryptoNight coins until the end of the year. Average daily trading volume is 300 BTC for this exchange compared to BisQ that is 50 BTC.

BisQ listing update

Camothegeek was hard at work last weekend creating a PR on BisQ GitHub for a listing of Aeon for their next update. Aeon should be listed on the next update pending everything looking good. Keep an eye out for the official listing of Aeon.

Aeon Atomicwallet integration update

A discussion was also started for integration of Aeon into Atomicwallet. Members of the community seen interested in this use case for Aeon in this multi-asset wallet. Further discussion with their development team will be done and an AFS proposal submitted for funding. This tool would allow users of Aeon to hold multiple crypto assets in one central wallet while still holding their private keys on their own personal device. This wallet does use remote nodes for ease of function. AtomicWallet also has Shapeshift and Changelly integrated into its platform along with the direct purchase of Bitcoin with a credit card. Please add any additional comments to this thread and be on the lookout for an AFS proposal for funding.

Currently, over 300 assets are supported by AtomicWallet platform.

When Binance?

Members of the community have been asking for a Binance listing for a long time. An official listing form has been submitted and we are awaiting a reply from Binance. Submitting the listing form does not guarantee a listing, but it is an initial step for this. If community members want Aeon listed, the best thing that you can do is tweet to them that you are interested.

Aeon GUI official 12.8 release

The official Aeon desktop GUI has its latest update binaries out. Please download the latest version for the most up to date wallet feature updates.

Monerujo-AE app update

We are still waiting on the 13.0 network upgrade for the next version of this android app. Listing in the Google Play store is planned a well. There is a possible addition of AeonAPI integration with this app when it is finalized.
